What will I need to bring to discuss the Probate of an Estate?
You will need to bring the original or a copy of the Will to be offered for Probate, as well as information concerning the Estate's property and liabilities. If there is not a will, then you will need the names and addresses of those believed to be the heirs at law and any information you have about the Estate's property and liabilities. If available, a copy of the Death Certificate should also be provided.
What will I need to bring to discuss Estate Planning?
When you contact the firm, we will provide an Estate Planning package that contains basic information about Estate Planning. It is helpful if you can complete the information. Information will be needed regarding your desires as to the Estate Plan you would like to create and general information about the Estate's property.
What will I need to bring to discuss business planning?
If the business being formed is a new business, then a copy of the business plan is helpful as well as information concerning the new business. If the business is an existing business, then information about the business's property and business operation will be needed.
What are the law firm's charges for Estate Planning and Probate?
The law firm's fees will be discussed at your initial office conference. The law firm provides services on an hourly basis and, in limited cases, on a fixed fee basis.
What are the law firm's normal hours of operation?
9:00 am through 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Will Mr. McGehee answer my questions over the telephone?
The law firm's policy is not to give answers to legal questions over the telephone to individuals who are not clients represented by the law firm.
